Belize Mission Team 2014
Forty-nine missionaries, under the auspices of Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church and its mission organization, Friends Reaching Friends, will be traveling to Belize City, Belize, on Saturday, June 6, for its second mission trip. The mission will take place from Saturday, June 6 to 13, 2015. The Church and its mission organization will celebrate 30 years of missionary work, locally and internationally, next year having first started in 1986. Although several of the missionaries are members of Holy Sacrament, the team include members of other churches, including St. Paul’s, Vero Beach, and St. George’s, Riviera Beach, Florida, and religions, as well as medical professionals and people of a variety of professional persuasions. One thing we all have in common is that we feel called by God to be a part of these missionary efforts.
We are, again, partnering with the Anglican Diocese of Belize and will be engaging in Adult and Pediatric Health Care, Construction, Vacation Bible School (VBS), Workshops on First Aid and CPR, and Seminars on Spiritual Enrichment.
