Worship is a very important aspect of spiritual growth in the lives of our members at Holy Sacrament. In it, we express our love for God. Every Sunday, we gather to thank and praise God in a blend of traditional and contemporary music, and prayer, to hear His Word read and preached, to ask His forgiveness and receive His Blessed Sacrament. Worship is the window through which our guests get a glimpse of our Church, and hopefully experience and connect with God.

Rite II (Book of Common Prayer, pages 355-382) of the Holy Eucharist is the form regularly used; however, during Lent, Rite I (Book of Common Prayer, pages 323-349) is preferred. At Holy Sacrament, all baptized Christians, adults and children, are welcome to receive communion.

Worship Purpose Group
This group consists of the leaders of the ministries or organizations relating to worship, or their representative. The Rector or his/her designee shall be ex-officio members of the Group and two members of the Vestry serve as liaisons to the Group.

The purpose of the Group is to find ways in which inviting and enthusiastic worship is continued and strengthened and we experience the presence and love of God through Word, Sacrament, Music and Christian Fellowship. The group collaborates with other Purpose Groups to carry out the assigned purposes and goals of the Parish, remembering that we are all working together for the common good of our Church.
