Welcome Message from our Rector
Welcome!
On behalf of the faith community of Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church, Pembroke Pines, Florida, “Welcome to our web site!” We hope that you will find the information about our church very useful.
Formed in 1956 and located in South Florida, Holy Sacrament is an exciting, innovative, prophetic, mission-oriented, faithful, technically-advanced and multi-cultural parish with members who identify thirty (30) different nations as their countries of origin. The diversity is beautifully exemplified not only through the various nationalities but also in many forms of culture, worship and fellowship. We believe that we are called by Jesus Christ to know, love and worship Him with all our "heart, soul, mind, and strength” and to proclaim and serve Him wherever He may direct us, whether in South Florida, the Caribbean, Central America, or around the world. We are a faith community that share common values, interests and concerns and who love and care not only for each other but for others as well.
We worship at two services (the Eucharist) on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. with a blend of traditional and contemporary music. Christian Education for adults and children also takes place on Sunday mornings. During the week, the church family is engaged in a number of activities particularly through various ministries and group meetings.
We invite you to come, see, worship, and share in fellowship with us. We trust that you will find our worship services an inspiration, joy and blessing as we celebrate the unique contribution each individual makes to our common ministry "in, with, and for Jesus Christ."
Every Blessing!
